The Aston Martin DBS has been one of the British carmaker’s most iconic models. Since its launch in 2018, several variants of the car have been made. But this one that Aston Martin is launching is, by far, the best.
The DBS 770 Ultimate is the model’s swan song before this special car’s generation officially ends. Aston Martin went all out, not just in prettifying the car but also in making special changes to make it the best DBS yet.

Let’s start with the obvious changes. Up front, the car gets a new hood, a redesigned “horseshoe” grille, and splitters with integrated outboard vents. These don’t just make the DBS look more aggressive, but ensure better engine cooling and improved aerodynamics.
New skirts adorn the sides, and the sick 21-inch multi-spoke rims are available in three finishes (Satin Silver, Satin Black, and Satin Black with Diamond Turning).
The rear end gets a new bumper design, with chrome accents on the exhaust pipes and a reworked splitter. These little changes make the good-looking car look even better.

The style changes continue inside the car. Here, you get Sports Plus seats wrapped with a mix of semi-aniline leather and Alcantara. Unique trims and stitching can be found all around. Super-light carbon-fiber paddles can help you switch gears.
And finally, there’s a laser-etched DBS 770 Ultimate logo that sits on the center armrest.

But the biggest changes are beyond what the eyes can see. A retuned 5.2-liter V12 engine now makes 762hp and a mind-blowing 900Nm. The turbocharged mill, the eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, and a limited-slip diff allow the car to hit 339km/h.
Further tweaks were done on the steering column, the body rigidity, and the suspension—ensuring better driving dynamics. Finally, carbon ceramic brakes can help you tame this beast when the light turns red.
The DBS 770 Ultimate comes in coupe and convertible (Volante) versions. Only 300 Coupes and 199 Volantes will be made available.
Production will begin in the first quarter of 2023, and the cars will be delivered to their lucky owners by the third quarter of the year. But sadly, Aston Martin says that all of those are already spoken for.

Many of us—although we may not have the money to acquire it—have missed the chance of owning a very special car. What’s even more depressing is the fact that the future of the model is uncertain since the world is starting to embrace full electrification. Will there be an electric DBS in the future? We’ll all just have to wait and see.
