We check out the best official offers for the Hyundai Elantra advertised on AutoTrader in 2022.
The Hyundai Elantra for a long time has been a standard Korean family sedan when you want something different to a Toyota Corolla for example. It’s a vehicle that stands out from its competition. Although no longer sold as new in South Africa, the last generation sold on our shores offered premium spec with attractive styling and even a range-topping 150kW turbocharged sporty variant. It’s a sedan you can’t go wrong with. There’s good value and reliable motoring to have here.
1. Hyundai Elantra 1.6 Executive Manual.
Kicking things off, we have the 1.6 Executive manual. A decent amount of standard spec, such as electric windows all round, ABS, EBD, 6 airbags, electric folding mirrors, remote central locking and the like. There are plenty of solid examples like this for a reasonable price.
2. Hyundai Elantra 1.6 Executive Automatic.
The Elantra 1.6 Executive Automatic retains the same feature set as the Manual variant, but the only difference here is that you receive an automatic transmission.
3. Hyundai Elantra 2.0 Elite Automatic
The standard spec offered in the 1.6 Executive derivatives carries over to the 2.0 Elite. The 2.0 Elite receives a bigger engine as well as more nice to-haves. Such as 17 inch wheels, climate control, smart central locking, EBD and rain-sensing wipers.
4.Hyundai Elantra MY17 1.6 TGDI Elite Sport DSCT.
The creme de la creme of the Elantra range. This derivative retains the feature set of the 2.0 Executive except you have a fire-breathing 150kW 1.6-litre turbocharged motor coupled with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. This derivative has more of a focus on sports driving but still retains the practicality of a family sedan. Here’s our review of the vehicle.
