Developed by Wanderword in partnership with InXile entertainment, an RPG studio at Xbox Game Studios, The Bard’s Tale – Warlocks of Largefearn is an RPG with an unusual audio feature. It’s now it’s available to users who have Amazon Alexa (USA, UK, and Canada) and also for those with Google Assistant.
The RPG is a direct sequel to Bard’s Tale IV – The town of Skara Brae. It brings an adventure taking us to a small village in Largefearn, an isolated town. The game features an innovative audio-based combat system. It allows you to recruit allies and uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of citizens in this small town.
The game has four different classes, including Bard, Fighter, Vampire/Trickster, and Doctor. The classes also have sub-classes, allowing for greater customization of your character. Talking about customization, the companions travel with you across Largefearn. They can be customized and everyone must be recruited by you.
The game arrived last Wednesday ( December 15). It’s very promising and is available on both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. To start playing just talk to the services “Alexa, open The Bard’s Tale.” and “Ok Google, open The Bard’s Tale”. Unfortunately, the game is available only in English, which defines that players need to communicate in English to play. As for the Google Assistant version, it seems that it is no longer available to access or play. However, it may return in the next few days.
