The 2022 Haval H6 is no stranger to some of us in Malaysia. After all, we’ve gotten up close and personal with the C-segment SUV slightly over a year ago. After that, it was radio silence from GWM Malaysia.
Fast forward to June 2022 and it seems that work is currently underway for the local debut of the 2022 Haval H6, as the SUV has been spotted roaming the streets, courtest of Junhairi Alyasa’s Facebook post here.

Despite the heavy camouflage, it is quite clear that this is the Haval H6, as evident from its recognizable tail lights and rear reflectors. The lower part of the rear bumper is identical to the H6 too.

Furthermore, the P1249A trade plate worn by this SUV was also seen on an Ora Good Cat, further cementing the notion that the SUV is registered under GWM Malaysia.
Are Malaysians brave enough to opt for a copper-tinged interior?
It remains to be seen what powertrain will the Malaysian-spec 2022 Haval H6 get. Depending on the market, the Haval H6 is powered by either a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine (169 PS, 280 Nm) or a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder (204 PS, 320 Nm).
