The definitive Pony car has been spotted on numerous occasions parading through the city streets of Michigan adorned in heavy camouflage. A latest teased image of the seventh gen Ford Mustang boasts a softer looking front end while evolving the existing retro styling.

Prototypes of the latest Ford sports car have been spotted in the vicinity of their headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan however the Blue Oval has ensured no possibility of the model being recognised by draping the coupe with rolls of fabric camouflage that only vaguely show off the silhouette of the model.

A latest leaked image shared by Ford Authority has been spreading around the internet like wildfire after an anonymous source reportedly snapped a shot of the seventh gen Ford Mustang front end in its naked form. While the 2024 production model is still possibly a year away from official debut, the image shows a near production ready iteration of the Pony car although things may change before the model is officially unveiled.

While the angle is vague and only really shows the front fascia of the seventh gen Ford Mustang, we can see that the design language is an evolution from the retro styled fifth generation which made landfall in 2005. More geometric cleanliness is present with the slim front headlights which flank the slightly smaller grille than before.
Expect the usual visual differentiations to be present between the different levels of trim available on the 2024 Mustang. The iteration here is unknown however the five spoke rims allude to the possibility that it is on par with the current base EcoBoost model which makes use of similar looking wheels.
No official dates have been provided by the decision makers at the Blue Oval however the seventh gen For Mustang is expected to debut sometime in 2023. The range will boast V8 power as well as the EcoBoost derivative and potentially a hybrid too but if you’d like your next American Muscle car in electric format, you may have to wait until the eighth generation for that.
