GM has confirmed the issues, which requires only a simple software update to resolve.

A select number of 2023 model-year Chevrolet Corvettes received the wrong suspension calibration for their Electronic Suspension Control Modules during production at Bowling Green Assembly. General Motors told Road & Track it’s issued a service update to its dealers in response to the problem, but has yet to quantify how many vehicles are impacted.
The news comes by way of GM Authority, who was the first to become aware of the service update heading to dealers. Said dealers are being tasked with correcting the issue on all 2023 model-year Corvettes in their current inventory, as well as any customer car that comes through the service department for any unrelated reason. It is unclear whether GM will choose to actively reach out to owners in relation to getting the service completed. The automaker has not specified at this time whether the issue impacts Stingray, Z06 or both models. The hybridized Corvette E-Ray model will not enter production until closer to the end of 2023 and therefore is not included in the mix-up.

Luckily for C8 Corvette owners, the fix, in this case, is rather straightforward. GM techs will simply need to recalibrate the car’s Electronic Suspension Control Modules with the proper programming. There are no physical parts that need to be swapped, with the inspection process taking just 12 minutes to complete. Service techs will need another 18 minutes to install the correct files. All of the work will be covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty that comes with the purchase of your C8.
General Motors’ TechLink site for dealers does not currently provide any more details surrounding the situation. R&T reached out to Chevrolet for comment, the automaker confirmed the details of GM Authority’s report but offered no additional comment or information.
