Car registration charges
When it is about paying the charges for registration of a car, you should be prepared with registration charges and other fees. Car registration charges in Delhi are:
Charges of registration: Rs600 for your car regardless of its value.
Hypothecation cost: Rs1500 is the charge if the car has been bought on loan.
Cost of Number Plate: the cost varies from200 to 500
Charges for state development: The charge is Rs 2000 for a vehicle of below 4 lakh. The charge for vehicles that are priced above ₹ 2,00,000 is Rs 4000.
The temporary registration charge is between ₹ 1200 and ₹ 1500. It has one-month validity.
Road Tax: This tax ranges between 4 per cent and 15 per cent. For non-company vehicles, the road tax varies between 4 per cent and 15 per cent and for company vehicles the upper limit is 12.5 per cent.
Fast-Tag cost varies from ₹ 500 to ₹ 600. This charge is payable while purchasing the vehicle.
