And it'll be revealed by an equally cool concept of yesteryear.
Porsche will officially begin its 75th-anniversary celebrations tonight with a new concept vehicle that has been teased on the automaker's Instagram channels. In quick succession, two teaser reels on Instagram were posted, showcasing an “unseen design study” for the first time. Towing the concept to its reveal will be the Porsche Vision Renndienst concept, which pays homage to the VW race service van used by Porsche decades ago.
So what is this new concept going to be? Well, 75 years ago, Porsche revealed its first-ever car in the form of the 356, long before the Porsche 911 became the benchmark sports car. In the teaser video, the covered concept appears between a 356 coupe and the Porsche 356 Nr. 1 Roadster – the first car to bear the Porsche name. It stands to reason, then, that the design study could be an homage to those very first Porsches. However, it could be something else.

The front shots show a typical Porsche nose, but the rear is a particularly rounded one akin to that of the Panamera, although the prominent diffuser is nothing like contemporary Porsche road cars.
The fact that Porsche specifies the concept is previously unseen leads us to believe it's part of the 'Porsche Unseen' series of 15 concepts that the brand started revealing in 2020, even selling a coffee table book filled with concepts that had never been publicly shown. It was as part of this series we first saw the Vision Renndienst and many others, including road-going versions of the Porsche 919 Le Mans Prototype and various other sports-, super-, and hypercars. This could simply be one of those, rather than being an all-new concept to celebrate 75 years.

We knew Porsche was going to go all-out for 2023, as this is the year Porsche not only celebrated its 75th anniversary but also 60 years of the 911 and the 80th birthday of Wolfgang Porsche. Company CEO Oliver Blume previously said that there would be a special edition released for each of these occasions. This concept is unlikely to be one of those, but it may inspire them. As a design study, it could also preview the design language of future EVs, something commenters on the teaser posts seem adamantly opposed to.
However, while Porsche's future is predominantly electric, fans need not fear as the automaker is leaving the door open for combustion to live on. Porsche is pioneering synthetic fuel and looks likely to continue the 911 as a combustion-powered sports car well into the future, while models like the 718 will become electric.
