With the launch of the new Mahindra XUV700 in South Africa, the automaker has introduced several payment plans to make the vehicle more attainable to a wider range of buyers.
The new SUV is available in three specifications with prices coming in at R474,999 for the five-seater AX5, R524,999 for the seven-seater AX7, and R559,999 for the top-of-the-line AX7 L.
Through Mahindra Finance, customers now have the following repayment options on these derivatives, according to the company:

Locally, the new XUV700 range gets a 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol motor rated for an output of 149kW and 380Nm, paired with a six-speed automatic box.
All models turn the front wheels only and return a combined fuel consumption of 6.6l/100km.
In terms of cabin amenities, the base AX5 brings a panoramic sunroof, LED clear-view headlamps with cornering lamps, LED daytime-running lights, a multifunction steering wheel, six speakers, 17-inch alloys, and four airbags.
The mid-range AX7 takes it further with keyless start, automatic headlight operation with high-beam assist, rain-sensing wipers, leatherette upholstery, a reverse camera, dual-zone climate control, an electric driver seat, adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warnings with automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warnings, lane-keep assist, traffic-sign recognition, driver drowsiness monitoring, a tyre-pressure monitor, six airbags, and 18-inch wheels.
Those who opt for the range-topping L variant can also expect fitment of a 12-speaker stereo, a 360-degree camera system, keyless entry with smart door handles, wireless charging, stop-and-go functions for the adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and continuous digital video recording.
The entire line-up is equipped with the automaker’s all-new infotainment setup, too, comprising a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and a central screen of the same size supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
