MINI has introduced the MINI Electric Resolute Edition as an additional new colourway to its electric MINI 3 Door range. Limited to just 90 units in Malaysia, the MINI Electric Resolute Edition offers a new exclusive design and equipment features.
The exclusive exterior design is inspired by MINI’s rich heritage and conveys the message that locally emission-free driving fun is now an integral part of the brand’s character, as well as more than 60 years of history.
The appearance of the MINI Electric Resolute Edition is enhanced with bonnet stripes in an exclusive design. And like the door sill trims, they feature a pattern made up of parallel lines with a colour gradient that runs between a light and a dark shade of gold, along with the inscription “RESOLUTE”. Exclusive features to the new edition include the Waistline Finisher in black, as well as 17″ Electric Collection Spoke alloy wheels.
Besides the Rebel Green colour offering, the MINI Electric Resolute Edition is also available in the new Enigmatic Black and Nanuq White paint finishes. Further, the hallmark design features are finished in exclusive Resolute Bronze instead of the usual chrome. These include the surrounds of the headlights, radiator grille and rear lights, the side scuttles on the front side panels and the handles of the doors as well as the tailgate. The surrounding strip at the lower edge of the windscreen is finished in Piano Black, as are the inner frame of the radiator grille, the brand logos and the model inscription.
The seats of the MINI Electric Resolute Edition come with Cloth Leatherette finish with Black Pearl Light Chequered upholstery. The rest of the cabin has anthracite-coloured roof liner and black armrests and knee rolls. Additionally, the lower spoke of the Nappa leather sports steering wheel bears the edition-specific MINI Resolute logo.
In line with the brand’s global ambitions for sustainability, the Cloth Leatherette Black Pearl Light Chequered upholstery is made from recycled PET (PolyEthylene Terephthalate) bottles. The upper fabric is 100% recycled PES (Polyester) while the lining is made up of approximately 70% recycled PET material, which results in an overall recycling rate of approximately 90.6%.
