The gold exterior is matched with carbon fiber accents and black wheels.
Mercedes-Benz cars use non-vibrant colors like black and white to keep their premium demeanor. However, when German luxury car tuner Mansory painted a Mercedes-Benz S-Class in gold, we think more owners may want to break out of the norm.
To be more specific, the modified full-size luxury sedan is wearing an exclusive Manufaktur Galahari Gold metallic finish. While gold is predominantly featured on the exterior, Mansory installed exposed carbon fiber bits for aesthetics and aerodynamics. It can be found on the front and rear bumpers, side mirrors, front, and rear quarter panels, rocker panels, and front splitter with winglets.
Complementing the carbon fiber exterior bits are blacked-out 22-inch FS.23 wheels and grille.
The interior is undeniably built by Mansory, with multiple brand badging on the carpets, headrests, and side sills with carbon fiber surrounds. The latter didn't have difficulty blending in as the cabin hosts a two-tone white and black finish. Of course, it wouldn't be an S-Class without the comprehensive Mercedes ambient lighting and flexible rear seating.
Powering the vehicle is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing nearly 500 horsepower in stock form. Mansory didn't mention any upgrade to the oily bits, but looking back to its previous S-Class build a few years ago, that one has a total power output of 526 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque with the help of ECU tune and a performance exhaust system.

Power is sent to all four wheels thanks to the brand's 4MATIC system. In terms of performance, the car can go from zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph – again in stock form.
While the choice of gold didn't look bad on the Mercedes-Benz S 580, a similarly-colored Lamborghini Urus modified by Mansory last month wasn't received well. The modified S-Class and Urus have identical design schemes, including a black and white interior. All the parts must come together to make a project look satisfactory, and Mansory hit the mark on S-Class.
