The Edizione Nobile will come with special paint, special seats, new trim, and a whole load of luxury and active safety features.
Maserati is introducing a trio of special editions. That’s one special that covers three models. The Ghibli, Quattroporte, and Levante. The Edizione Nobile will come with special paint, special seats, new trim, and a whole load of luxury and active safety features.
The Edizione Nobile is named for the deep dark Blu Nobile tri-coat paint that all of the special edition cars will wear. It’s a deep navy blue that should complement the cars’ lines well. All three will also wear 20-inch alloys. Hiding inside those big wheels will be silver-paint brake callipers.
On the inside, each vehicle will get a special badge in the centre console. It’s there to make sure owners, and any passengers who happen to notice, know that the Edizione Nobile is an exclusive version. One that will be limited to just 150 cars total. The special run is limited to only Granlusso package vehicles, the trim line that leans toward luxury over a sporty appearance.
The Nobiles will get sport seats, too. Normally, the heavily bolstered sport seats are reserved for Gransport models, but they are available here too. They’re trimmed in Pieno Fiore leather, and Maserati has given them a two-tone nero and cuoio colour combination. Cuoio is Maserati for a tan colour.
The driver and front passenger get heated and ventilated seats, while rear-passengers get heat only. In the Quattroporte and Ghibli versions, the cabin is trimmed in Rovere veneer. That’s a light grey finish. On the Levante, there is a high-gloss metal net weave.
Other must-have luxury features include an Alcantara suede-like headliner. There’s also a Bowers & Wilkins surround audio system. On the Levante, that means 17 speakers packed throughout the cabin. Along with a 1,280-watt amplifier to make sure those speakers are well-driven.
The package also comes with Maserati’s level II Autonomy Driver Assistance Package. That includes Maserati’s Highway Assist System. A semi-autonomous drive mode that combines active cruise control with stop and go and lane centering. It keeps the vehicle in-lane and controls speed relative to other vehicles when conditions allow. The pack also comes with a surround-view camera, and lane-keeping assist. Plus active blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, and pedestrian detection.
Deliveries of the Edizione Nobile package cars will start in December. The 150-only package is limited to 50 Ghiblis, 50 Levantes, and 50 Quattroportes.
