Maruti Suzuki recently launched the updated XL6 at ₹11.29 lakhs. The XL6 packs in a whole host of new features and safety equipment. However, the new additions have brought in a significant price hike as well. Let’s take a look at each of the variants in the XL6 range and see what they offer:
Zeta
16-inch dual-tone alloy rims, LED headlights with DRLs, LED tail lamps, front fog lamps, automatic climate control. cruise control, 7-inch Smartplay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted audio controls, cooled cup holders in the central console, power windows with auto up/down for the driver, tilt, and telescopic adjustment for the steering wheel, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs,six-speaker sound system, connected car tech (Telematics only). keyless entry with push-button start, colored MID, four airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child-seat mounts. The Zeta variant is priced at ₹11.29 lakh for MT and ₹12.79 lakh for AT.
Alpha
Leather-wrapped steering wheel, leatherette upholstery, 7-inch Smartplay Pro touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, voice assistant system with ‘Hi Suzuki’ command, auto headlights, an IR-cut front windshield, and UV-cut side glasses. The Alpha variant is priced at ₹12.29 lakh for MT and ₹13.79 lakh for AT.
Alpha+
The Alpha+ variant gets new features such as ventilated seats and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Alpha+ variant is priced at ₹12.89 lakh for MT and ₹14.39 lakh for AT.
Maruti XL6 facelift: a quick recap
The facelifted XL6 gets a new grille with sweeping ‘X’ bar element, machine-finished 16-inch alloy wheels, gloss black finish on B&C pillars, fender side garnish with chrome element, LED taillamps with smoke grey lens, back door garnish with chrome insert and a spoiler. It also comes with the option of dual-tone body color in the Alpha+ trim.
The new XL6 comes powered by a new K-series 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT with idle start/stop technology. It produces 101hp and 136nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. Customers can also opt for a 6-speed torque converter gearbox with paddle shifters. It returns 20.97 km/l in the manual guise and 20.27 km/l when mated to the automatic gearbox.
