Tug of war is becoming increasingly popular on YouTube to test the capabilities of various vehicles and this is another example of it.
This classic tug of war competition between a Mahindra Scorpio N and an Audi Q5 (last-gen) throws up some interesting results. Now, we don’t recommend this technique to test the capabilities of your cars as there could be a negative impact on the vehicle and its components in the long run. Nonetheless, there are tons of YouTubers who perform such stunts to entertain their audiences. This is one such case where a bunch of car owners take their SUVs to a remote location to create some epic stunts.

Mahindra Scorpio N and Audi Q5 Tug of War
The video has been uploaded by Rahul Bhardwaj on YouTube. He is with his group of friends who have SUVs like the Mahindra Scorpio N, Audi Q5 and Tata Safari. They reach a remote off-roading location with their SUVs. First of all, they are seen doing drifts and off-roading manoeuvres in their SUVs. In fact, the Scorpio N and Safari (last-gen) are able to climb a steep hill convincingly but the Audi struggled. That is a bit weird even though it has a lot of power.

However, in the final section of the video, they decide to perform a tug of war competition. Having tied a rope to the rear sections of the SUVs, they begin accelerating. Shockingly, the Scorpio N was able to pull the Audi repeatedly. This left everyone surprised. We associate Audi cars with performance and power but the Scorpio was able to pull it away quite convincingly.

Specs Comparison
The last-gen Audi Q5 comes powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that makes 248 hp and 370 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine comes mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission powering all four wheels. On the other hand, the Scorpio N has a 2.0-litre turbo petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The former develops 200 PS & 380 Nm while the latter makes 175 PS & 400 Nm of peak power and torque. There are manual or automatic transmissions on offer as well.
