Teasers upon teasers is the game plan BMW has been administering to the automotive world for their upcoming performance-crazed M2 coupe. Ahead of its rumoured debut on the 12th of October, here is another image of the widebody model adorned in camouflage and some M parts.

The tiresome teaser campaign has been underway for months now. We have seen the M2 on track, wearing striking livery and we have seen it undergoing testing, with a less extravagant but equally concealing camouflage. This time around, the model has been wearing the latter and from what we can fathom, the production model which is due in less than a month is unlikely to change the bits and pieces bolted onto the widened 2 Series.
The model which signals the last in the chapter of pure internal combustion power for BMW can be seen wearing M Performance Parts in the latest teaser image. This includes a rear wing, centre-exit exhaust tips and bronze 1000M wheels.

Rumours suggest that the M2 will be unsheathed from the black and white camouflage and officially presented to the world on the 12th of October in Europe. Similar to what Porsche has done with the ludicrous Cayman GT4 RS by putting the motor of its larger 911 GT3 model behind the cabin, the small Bavarian coupe has inherited the running gear from the larger and heavier M4.
This means that it will come with some serious performance to match the beefier wheel arches and aggressive aero. We can expect the Bavarians will continue to sate our prying appetites with some titbits before it is shown in just over a month’s time – hopefully, we can get some conclusive figures on its performance too!
