Lincoln has unveiled its Model L100 Concept, an aerodynamic electric vehicle with advanced battery and autonomous driving technology. The name refers to 100 years of Lincoln under the company’s banner, as Henry Ford purchased the luxury auto company in 1922 shortly after it was founded.
The automaker said the Model L100 “advances Lincoln’s vision and paves the way for the brand to rethink mobility in the future.” The concept car was unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance show in California, where Lincoln is the featured marque in honour of its anniversary.

Named in honour of the first Lincoln, the 1921 Model L, the Model L100 Concept is built around next-generation battery cell technology, which Lincoln said will deliver “game-changing energy density” and enable structural integration that treats the entire vehicle as a system. This integrated structure maximizes cabin space, which can be designed as a flexible and transformable system.
The front-row seats can be flipped so passengers can sit across from those in the rear. The Model L100 is designed to be autonomous, and the centre console includes a crystal controller that replaces the traditional steering wheel and vehicle controls.
The cabin includes animal-free materials and is accented in recycled fabric, while the interior lighting includes a digital floor.
The exterior uses metallic paint and frosted acrylic in place of chrome, and the exterior light display follows the driver around the vehicle using artificial intelligence and GPS sensors. The wheel covers also include lights that react to someone near the vehicle, and also give the impression of movement and indicate the battery’s state of charge. Entry into the cabin is through a glass roof canopy and reverse-hinged doors.

“Lincoln has been one of the most enduring and stylish automotive brands in the world,” said Bill Ford, executive chair of Ford Motor Company, “and in many ways, it is perfectly positioned for a second century defined by great design, zero emissions and technology-led experiences. If there is one secret to Lincoln’s longevity, it is the brand’s ability to balance its core values with a desire to innovate and create the future.”
In homage to the brand’s history, a crystal greyhound hood ornament is visible through the transparent hood. Henry Ford’s son Edsel commissioned the canine-themed mascot as a Lincoln signature, and it first appeared on the cars in 1927.
