Say hello to the new LDV Mifa, a seven-seat people mover set to rival the likes of the Kia Carnival and the Toyota Granvia.
It’s now on sale here in Australia. An eight-seater version will also be available from early in 2023.
Three variants will be available for the Mifa, including Mode, Executive and Luxe trims. The entry-level Mode variant will start from $53,990 before on-road costs, while the Executive and Luxe variants will be priced from $63,990 and $72,990 respectively.
The LDV Mifa Executive sits at the top of the range
That puts the Mifa in very similar territory to the Kia Carnival but at a lower pricing tier than Toyota’s Granvia people mover.
All Mifas are powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 160kW of power and 360Nm of torque. It’s mated to a eight-speed automatic transmission sourced from Aisin.
The Mifa joins a range of products in Australia including the D90 SUV, T60 Max ute and the Deliver 9 van.

What’s in store for the new LDV Mifa?
On the exterior, the Mifa has a redesigned front end with L-shaped daytime running lights. Several colours are available including metal black, pearl white, dynasty red and mica blue.
A set of 18-inch alloy wheels are standard on the Mode, while 19-inch alloys are available on Executive and Luxe variants.
Inside the Mifa, a 2-2-3 seating arrangement is standard, however an eight-seat variant will arrive next year.
Second row captain’s chairs make navigating the rear of the Mifa easier
Standard equipment inside includes fold-out tray tables, footrests, cup and bottle holders and seven USB ports throughout the cabin.
A 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster is standard, also, along with a large 12.3-inch central touchscreen.
Also available is a leather, heated steering wheel, a digital rear-view mirror and a wireless mobile charging pad.

A seven-year/200,000km warranty is standard on the Mifa range. Five years of roadside assistance also comes with the vehicle.
Safety equipment on the Mifa people mover
Every Mifa comes standard with a range of safety features including AEB, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning and lane-keep assist, a fatigue reminder, auto high-beam, rear collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert and speed limit assist.
The LED light detail front and rear share the same design language
Driver, passenger, side and full-length curtain airbags are also standard on all Mifas.
