LDV has announced Australian pricing and specifications for its first electric dual-cab ute, the eT60, but it’s not cheap
LDV has announced it will bring its first electric ute, the eT60 dual cab, to Australia in 2023.
The electric ute will be priced from $92,990 before on-road costs and will be the first of its kind to launch locally.
The eT60 will be rear-wheel drive and will be powered by a 130kW/310Nm electric motor. Battery size for the new eT60 is 88.55kWh.

In terms of electric range, the eT60 will be able to travel 330km (WLTP) on a single charge.
For tradies and others wanting to carry and tow with the new eT60, total payload capacity is rated at 1000kg, while towing capacity is also rated at 1000kg.

That’s a fairly big step down from diesel dual-cabs such as the Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger that are rated at 3500kg for braked towing capacity.
The LDV eT60 is set to go on sale in Australia in 2023.
