Land Rover has officially pulled the curtains off of their 2023 Range Rover Sport.
The new Range Rover Sport will kick off the model’s third generation. It will be offered in four different trims with varying powertrains: P360 SE, P400 SE Dynamic, P440e (PHEV) Autobiography, and P530 First Edition.
All Sports are built upon the automaker’s new MLA-Flex architecture, which allows for the different propulsion systems. The P360 SE will come standard with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine, producing 355 horsepower. A slightly beefed-up version is in the P400 SE Dynamic, putting out 395 horses; both of these engines feature a mild hybrid system. The Range Rover Sport P440e Autobiography sees a PHEV system combined with the 3.0-liter turbo I6 for a total of 434 horsepower. And lastly, the P530 First Edition will rock the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, dishing out 523 horses.
A pure-electric version of the Range Rover Sport is expected to launch sometime in 2024. For now, each engine will be mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, feeding the standard all-wheel drive system. All-wheel turning, as well as Dynamic Air Suspension, is also fitted as standard.
The 2023 Range Rover Sport will start at $84,350, after the $1,350 destination charge. The highest trim, the P530 First Edition, starts at $122,850.
