American actor and comedian Kevin Hart loves his cars just as much as the stage, which is evident in his latest machine to break cover.

Adding to his fleet of American muscle cars is this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, joining a Mopar-strong garage that includes his 1000hp, Hellcat-powered 1970 Dodge Charger dubbed ‘Hellraiser’.
Kevin commissioned the fellas at Salvaggio Design to build his vision for the Road Runner, who are known for doing SEMA quality builds. Kevin wanted a spooky, but subtle, Halloween theme for the car, which culminated in it being nicknamed after the legendary horror film character Michael Myers.
For the restomod, the only original sheet metal remaining was the roof, doors, front guards and rear quarter panels. Salvaggio changed everything else inside and out, drastically improving every area they saw fit.
Much like Kevin’s Hellraiser Charger, the driveline in the Road Runner is a meaty piece of kit. A 7.0-litre Hemi donk copped a Winberg crank, CP pistons, Boostline rods and ported Demon heads to handle the boost from the 3.8-litre Whipple blower.
Up behind the Mopar is a Tremec TR6060 manual ‘box, tasked with sending the 940hp worth of power to massive 20×12 HRE wheels wrapped in Michelin rubber.
Up front those same wheels measure 18×10, using custom made billet hubcaps to help with the cars subtle look. The X-Gen 595 front suspension supplied by Detroit Speed and Engineering required a CAD scan of the entire car to mate the two together, with JRI shocks on all four corners and Brembo brakes.
The exterior is finished in high gloss black, with a carbon fibre bonnet that uses a scoop inspired by the original A12 race package optional for Road Runners. Billet gear also adorns the exterior, comprising pieces like the front grille, side mirrors, door handles and tail-light surrounds.
The interior is just as detailed, with Salvaggio working with Gabe’s Custom Interiors to create the masterpiece. Bums sit in Recaro front seats, with a billet steering wheel and a slasher knife-style shifter to incorporate the Michael Myers theme. His face can also be found on the RPM gauge, with orange stitched black leather installed all the way into the boot.
To top the whole deal off, Kevin was even gifted a custom made pair of Nike Air Max 90 shoes, a wallet and a belt all made with the same material used for the interior go with his latest prized possession.
