Nine years later, the motorcycle major is bringing the bike back as the Karizma XMR, priced at Rs 1.72 lakh. The return of the Karizma was announced by the Indian company on X, formerly Twitter.

The brand has also roped in actor Hrithik Roshan – the ambassador of the original Karizma – to endorse the new model.

According to reports, the new Karizma XMR is powered by a 210 cc liquid-cooled DOHC V4 engine, producing a peak power of 25.15 hp@9,250 rpm and a max torque of 20.4 Nm@7,250 rpm. Combined with a six-speed transmission, the reborn Karizma can hit top speeds of 143 kmph.
Featuring a new chassis, the 2023 sports bike gets a single-petal disc at the front and a standard rear disc brake, along with dual-channel ABS.
The new avatar of the Karizma has been updated for the modern era, with an LCD instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation. A digital instrument cluster combines the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, a gear position indicator and the tachometer.
Hero is set to open bookings for the bike at 2:10 pm on Tuesday.
