With a strong heritage of over 80 years, Jeep vehicles are predominantly known for their off-road capabilities and prowess in extraordinary conditions. The brand was officially founded in 1941 and started building vehicles specifically equipped for the U.S. military during the Second World War. Fast forward to 1984, and Jeep is debatably credited as the first automaker to mass-produce a high-riding four-door vehicle that would subsequently become known as an SUV. In a rich and tradition-driven history, Jeep changed the face of the automotive industry in the ‘40s and today Jeep continues to set the standard in off-road adventurers.
Jeep is transforming its portfolio and now they have revealed the next phase of their exclusive take on electrifying their vehicles. According to Jeep, the new range of electrified vehicles will be more capable, and there will be more driving excitement and more freedom to go anywhere. The fully electric Wagoneer S, Grand Wagoneer 4xe, Jeep Avenger and the Jeep Recon are the new fully electrified SUVs that will be in the Jeeps portfolio set to launch in 2024. Jeep is set to reshape the SUV market by combining its classic designs, legendary capabilities and electrification.
The Jeep Recon and the Wagoneer S will launch in North America in 2024, followed by Europe and other regions, the Grand Wagoneer 4xe will also be released in the same year and will make an appearance in U.S showrooms. All Electric Jeep Avenger will arrive in Europe in early 2023. By 2030 Jeep confirmed they will offer a full range of battery electric vehicles (BEVs). The automaker is transforming its 4×4 technology into the electric age with the new 4xe system. Jeep’s 4xe technology is even more powerful than its predecessor, with increasing on-demand torque for quick acceleration and climbing prowess.

It will include off-road features like trail-related capabilities, aggressive off-road tires, removable doors and windows for open-air freedom and the latest UConnect system just to name a few. The Jeep Wagoneer will continue to expand the Jeep’s presence in the premium SUV market, it is designed to set a new standard with its speed, sleek aerodynamic design and 4×4 capabilities, targeting a range of 644 km on a single charge, producing 447 kW and a 0 – 100 km/h time of 3,5 seconds. The Jeep Avenger is Jeep’s entry-level compact SUV, targeting 400 km on all-electric range with a higher stance for off-roading capability, the Jeep Avenger will also deliver modern and technologically advanced features with a lot of cabin space. This modern and fun vehicle is set to appeal to a growing set of customers.
