The Isuzu MU-X will gain a darker look outside – and get more features – in 2023, following feedback from buyers
Isuzu has tweaked its MU-X large SUV model that will arrive in dealerships towards the end of 2022.
The Japanese manufacturer has made changes largely to the exterior design, however there has also been tweaks to alloy wheel design and technology.
All grades of the sister vehicle to Isuzu’s popular D-Max ute remain powered by the same 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine as before, with outputs of 140kW/450Nm.

What’s changed for MY23?
Across the MU-X range, the vehicle will now automatically deactivate rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring when towing.
For the entry-level LS-M grade, new additions include a two-tone black grille, LED rear lights trimmed in dark grey metallic and newly-designed 17-inch six spoke alloy wheels.
The 2023 Isuzu MU-X LS-U
Stepping up into the LS-U mid-tier model, buyers will gain a magnetite and black chrome grille, as well as magnetite accents for the rear bumper, roof rails, sidesteps and fog light trim. A tyre-pressure monitoring system, as well as a hands-free tailgate, are now included.
The flagship MU-X LS-T now gains the same magnetite trim inside and out, as well as new 20-inch six-spoke alloy wheels with in-built tyre-pressure monitoring.
Note the darkened grey colour that surrounds the MU-X’s headlights
