Debuting at the Paris Motor Show, this 745 kW capable Fiat Multipla 1000tipla borrows the engine from a Corvette, a quad-exit exhaust from a Pagani and a rear wing from a GT car.

It may very well be the coolest Fiat Multipla ever made. The controversially styled family-hauler originally garnered criticism for its quirky looks and 2000s bubble design but fast forward almost two decades, and the shape has been morphed into strange creations on multiple occasions.
This is the latest to be shown to the world and it is the Vilebrequin 1000tipla. Debuting at the Paris Motor Show, the model was keenly kept in the public eye since its inception is as a result of a crowdfunding campaign. Initially requiring €50 000, YouTubers Sylvain Lévy and Pierre Chabrier responsible for the build managed to raise a whopping €1,1 million. Thus, the idea from 2020 of a Monster Multipla was beginning to take shape.

As expected, the 1000tipla is far from stock since its application has deviated away from hauling kids around, to being a track-focused abomination. Powering it is a V8 taken from a Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06 and tuned all the way up to 1 000 hp (or 745 kW) which is where its name comes from. The exterior boasts widened fenders, that has the inside of the rear wheel perched as far out as the original body ended and a quad-tip exhaust setup akin to that of a Pagani. The livery from the conceptual phase has changed slightly and now features a white and red combination. On the inside is a fully built roll-cage which has been manufactured around the specific shape of the bubble interior. The driver sits in a Sabelt seat with a repositioned steering wheel from standard.
The full build has been documented on the Vilebrequin YouTube channel but it is in French. With the amount of traction this build has been generating, it is only a matter of time before it gets into the hands of an international automotive presenter.
