The QX Inspiration Concept from Infiniti will make its national debut at the Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto.
The new Infiniti QX inspiration mid-sized SUV Concept will make its Canadian debut at the 2019 Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS) in Toronto.
The new concept showcases Infiniti’s vision for high-performance electrified vehicles, indicating a new era for Infiniti design, enabled by new technology.
The display at the CIAS marks the second major auto show appearance for the Infiniti QX Inspiration Concept, following its global debut at the 2019 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
It was at the 2019 NAIAS where the QX Inspiration was awarded “Best Concept Vehicle”, “Best Interior” and “Innovative Use of Color, Graphics or Materials” by the prominent collection of automotive designers known as EyesOn Design.
EyesOn Design is comprised of more than 30 active and retired design heads of automotive manufacturers, and transportation design chairs from top art schools.
The QX Inspiration was selected based on its “true inspiration and functionality,” according to the judges who also applauded its “New and fresh look that shows extraordinary sophistication and simplicity – it embodies a modern take on materials while retaining a clean Japanese sensibility.”
Also on the display at the CIAS Infiniti booth are new special edition models for the Infiniti Q50 sedan and Infiniti Q60 coupe.
Named “I-LINE,” which stands for “Inspired Line,” these special editions are a Canadian initiative, available only in Canada.
Both I-LINE models are based on the Red Sport versions of Q50 and Q60, offering Infiniti ‘s 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine delivering 400 hp and 350 lb/ft maximum torque.
