Triumph Tiger Sport 660: Powertrain and Kerb Weight
The 2022 Triumph Tiger Sport 660 Sport uses the same 660cc, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected mill that also does duty on the Trident 660. The engine produces 81PS of peak power and 64Nm of peak torque, making it more powerful than its closest rival, the Kawasaki Versys 650.
Triumph hasn’t changed the tuning and the gearings at all. The Tiger Sport 660 carries the same 52 tooth sprocket from the Trident.
the Tiger 660 weighs 17 kilograms more at 206 kilograms than the Trident
Thanks to the new sharp adventure sport front fairing, the Tiger Sport 660 weighs 17 kilograms more (at 206 kilograms) than the Trident. But, it gets a slightly bigger 17-litre fuel tank, while the Trident features a 14-litre tank. So the additional weight might take a toll on the performance.
