Even almost a year after the end of COVID-19 lockdowns, the pandemic is still having a ripple effect through the new car market.
But the situation is improving for importers such as Hyundai, with supply of some models getting back to normal again.
Here’s a look at what Hyundai models are available and what the estimated wait times will be for these models.

The following Hyundai models can be available for delivery within three to six months from the time of order:

- Santa Fe and Santa Fe HEV SUVs
- Palisade SUV
- Staria van
- Staria-load commercial van
- i30 hatch
- i30 sedan

What’s off the books for now?
The Hyundai i20 N and i30 N hatch order books have been closed for some time, and continue to be as Hyundai tries to catch up to the current level of orders it has.

For current orders already placed on these cars, Hyundai says that the i20 N has a wait of over 12 months, while the i30 N hatch has a wait time of between six and twelve months.
However, the current Kona petrol and EV variants, as well as the performance N model, are closed completely to new orders.
