Hyundai Motor India has updated the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV with a new powertrain that complies with the upcoming more stringent RDE emission norms.
Along with the new RDE-compliant powertrain, the updated Hyundai Venue N Line also gets idle start / stop feature that is designed to reduce fuel consumption in stop-and-go traffic. Furthermore, prices for the new Hyundai Venue N Line have been hiked by Rs 30,000.
Diving into details, the new updated Hyundai N Line SUV continues to be offered in two variants – N6 and N8. Out of these two variants, the Hyundai N Line N6 variant is priced at Rs 12.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India), whereas the Hyundai N Line N8 variant is priced at Rs 13.74 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Coming to the powertrain, despite the update, the 1.0-litre, turbocharged, petrol engine puts out 118bhp of power and 172Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, the new Hyundai Venue N Line continues to come exclusively with a 7-speed DCT gearbox with paddle shifters. Also, the model comes with three drive modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport.
That being said, the updated model does not feature any visual upgrade and the Venue SUV continues to come with sportier dual-tip exhaust, red brake calipers, a few N Line badges, contrasting Red-coloured accents on the roof rails, and lower half of the front and rear bumper.
On the inside, the new Hyundai Venue N Line SUV continues to sport an all-black interior with N Line logo on various parts of the interior. Other than this, the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV also features red-coloured accents on the gear knob, centre console, dashboard, and door trims.
In terms of features, the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV comes with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity, BlueLink connected car tech, Bose audio system, an electric sunroof, a digital instrument cluster and many more. Furthermore, some noticeable safety features include 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, vehicle stability management (VSM), electronic stability control (ESC), rear parking sensors, hill assist control, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a few more.

Hyundai recently updated its entire SUV lineup with its new RDE-compliant powertrains. So, it was just a matter of time before the Venue N Line also received the new RDE-compliant powertrain. That being said, Hyundai is also offering new features to justify the Rs 30,000 price hike to the updated version of the Venue N Line SUV.
