- A. Inactive Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) camera
- B. Incomplete welding in driver seat slide adjuster
Malaysia today announced a proactive product recall involving the 2021 Hybrid and 2022 in a precautionary safety measure.
The recall is for the following situations:
A. Inactive Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) camera
This recall is a precautionary safety measure to replace the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) camera that is fitted in the front windscreen. The camera may not operate properly and cause ADAS to be inactive when driving. A total of 630 units of the 2021 City Hybrid are affected.
B. Incomplete welding in driver seat slide adjuster
This recall is a precautionary safety measure to rectify the welding point at the slide adjuster in the driver seat. This may cause the driver seat to be not fixed in position when driving and may compromise the seatbelt protection for the driver. 72 units of the 2022 Civic are involved.
