HONDA Malaysia has recently introduced a new variant of its City Hatchback lineup, the V-SENSING.
The car is the perfect addition for young executives and young families that enjoy an active lifestyle, as it is more than just a cool and sporty vehicle to look at, with a number of advanced safety features added.
This new variant, along with the RS e:HEV variant, in the City Hatchback line-up are equipped with Honda SENSING, which is considered to be the most complete advanced safety features in its class.
Honda Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Hironobu Yoshimura said the City V-SENSING variant has been well received by consumers since its introduction to the City line-up in November 2021.
This led the company to introduce the City Hatchback variant which now comes with Honda SENSING.
“Throughout the years, the City is well-known for its safety and advanced technology,” he said.
“For the first quarter of 2022, the City V-SENSING contributed 34% to the total City sales, which shows a positive trend for this variant and also the recognition of our advanced safety technology – Honda SENSING.
“We are now excited to introduce the V-SENSING variant to the All-New City Hatchback. We believe that with two All-New City Hatchback variants now available with Honda SENSING, it will further add value for our customers while raising the benchmark in the segment.”
Priced from RM95,600, the City Hatchback V-SENSING is the ideal price point for younger drivers, fresh graduates and young executives.
The car is also perfectly balanced between performance and exceptional fuel efficiency for a hatchback as it is equipped with 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine, coupled with continuous variable transmission (CVT).
