Maserati Ghibli
The Maserati Ghibli takes its name from a hot and dry Libyan desert wind with the name chosen to reflect the car’s sleek and sporty design when it was first released in the late 1960s. The Ghibli is one of several Maserati models to take on a name based on winds which also included the Mistral, Bora and Merak.
Pagani Zonda
The Pagani Zonda draws its name from the hot Argentinean wind that blows down the Andes Mountains, which can exceed speeds of 240 km/h (The Zonda’s top speed far exceeds that).
