The Fiat Electric 500 is said to be Stellantis’ best-selling BEV offering in the European continent.
According to media reports, Fiat which is part of the 14 car brands under the Stellantis Group, is said to have outsold all of them in the first six months of the year. The Italian car brand reportedly sold 6,45,000 cars globally, registering a 10% increase over last year’s figures.
The carmaker enjoys a good market share across multiple countries. Fiat holds a 14.1% market share in South America and a higher 22% share in the auto market in Brazil. In the first half of 2023, the sales of the Panda helped Fiat control a 12.8% market share of its home country of Italy. Reports also state that Turkey is another country where Fiat dominates, with an 18.2% market share due to the popularity of the Tipo.
The Fiat Electric 500 is said to be Stellantis’ best-selling BEV offering in the European continent. The 500 is also said to be among the five best-selling cars in countries like Italy, Germany, Spain and France.
Fiat has also announced a bunch of new models, including the 2023 Topolino, 2024 Fiat 600 and the next-generation Panda. Fiat’s product plan over the next three years should, according to the company’s CEO, help them “get back to where it belongs”.
Fiat recently also announced a new campaign called “Operation No Grey”, wherein it discontinued the Grey colour scheme while introducing a bunch of vibrant options across different model ranges.
