Is the Subaru Impreza a good car?
The Subaru Impreza was a prime example of the ‘3 Box’ Car design. 1 box was dedicated to the engine, another to the cabin and finally the 3rd box was the boot which was its own separate yet massive entity. Pair that with Subaru’s famous Symmetrical All Wheel Drive System and you have a dependable vehicle that can go almost anywhere, and have a top-class system for under R500 000 at the time.

They don’t necessarily want a family vehicle but want a car that handles family duties well.

Reviewer’s opinion
“Subaru products should seriously be considered as the vehicles include a host of standard equipment which usually feature under the optional column with other automakers. This speaks volume towards the value Subaru products offer customers. While a used Impreza will serve you well, try to find the more premium ES model to reap the benefits of all the technology that was available during that time.”

What is the Subaru Impreza like inside?
The Subaru Impreza does away with its rugged rally-inspired roots in favour of a premium contemporary interior. There are plenty of trapezoidal shapes forming the vents and stylistic elements around the cabin with soft-touch materials. You’ll also find leather seating and a leather steering wheel to round off the cabin’s look. It’s a mature interior.
Style
The maturity from the cabin spreads to the exterior too. The Impreza is confident still but omits the large bonnet scoops and functional beauty found in the Imprezas of the past. The side silhouette still embodies a sporty look to it but overall, the Impreza has grown up.
