Learn moreThe Ténéré 700 World Raid sits atop Yamaha's adventure bike hierarchy, and for good reason. After all, between twin aluminum fuel tanks, extra suspension travel and additional protection (among other tweaks), it shows notable differences from the standard T7. Moreover, the Tuning Fork brand gave the model a comprehensive electronics overhaul for 2026.Yamaha already equips the Ténéré 700 World Raid with some choice upgrades to prepare it for backcountry duty. - Credit: YamahaNow, to help riders push their bikes further into the backcountry, Yamaha has revealed some slick accessory packs for Europe. Regardless of which flavor you choose, they somehow manage to make the Ténéré 700 World Raid even more desirable.Yamaha's World Raid levels upYamaha is calling them the "Adventure," "Explorer" and "Sport" packs. They're each tailored for a slightly different riding style, with curated upgrades intended to get the most out of the World Raid's potential. In keeping with the name, Yamaha's Adventure pack has the Ténéré 700 World Raid equipped for long-distance mixed-surface riding.AdvertisementAdvertisementIn addition to a set of soft bags and side case stays to haul gear, it sports some adventure footpegs for added traction and critical protection in the form of a front guard and panel guards. The Adventure package goes for soft bags to keep the bike nimble. - Credit: YamahaThe Explorer, though similar, does bring some key tweaks making it more rugged in character. Along with swapping the Adventure pack's soft bags for aluminum hard cases, the package adds a heavy-duty skid plate for protection and throws in creature comforts like heated grips, tank pads and a center stand.Together, these components result in an impactful transformation and some critical gains for long-haul riding. - Credit: YamahaTogether, those additions make a strong case for long-haul touring. Of the three, though, I'd have to say my favorite is easily the Sport. That's because it has the World Raid go full rally mode with a high front fender, a headlight guard and some radiator and chain protectors. It also gives the bike the heavy-duty skid plate, tank pads and pegs of the Adventure and the Explorer. The Sport accessory pack definitely has the most attitude. - Credit: YamahaThe best part, though, is that the package trades the stock pipe for an Akrapovič slip-on exhaust. Together with the other goodies, it promises to give the World Raid even more potential for spirited off-road riding. Availability and pricing Now, it's worth noting that Yamaha is offering these items à la carte. If you can't (or don't want to) pony up all at once, the brand also allows you to upgrade separately as you go.Yamaha eventually launched the World Raid in the United States. I'd expect that enough demand could bring these parts across the pond, too. - Credit: YamahaAdvertisementAdvertisementThat said, the packages do offer meaningful savings over buying each item separately. For instance, the Explorer pack (in black) saves £501 compared to individual purchases. On that note, for now, Yamaha's World Raid Accessory packs are only available in Europe and the UK, where they start at £1,950 (~$2,650).Seeing as Yamaha eventually brought the World Raid stateside, though, I wouldn't be surprised if they make the jump too.Yamaha World Raid Accessory Packs Learn More About the Author: Gray is an associate editor at Gear Patrol, covering cars, motorcycles and anything else with wheels.
