This will cover sales, branding, R&D, supply chain synergy, and after-sales service. The goal is to drive China's embodied intelligence industry from the R&D phase toward large-scale application.Image source: WuBa IntelligenceSpecifically, the partnership will push for the implementation of WuBa's "comprehensive robot pilot platform solution". This will occur at JD.com's planned smart robot and advanced manufacturing bases nationwide. The companies aim to launch the first mature application case by December 31, 2026.On the sales front, WuBa's product lineup—including the Sirius, Dasheng, and enhanced development kits—will fully enter JD.com's marketplace. Leveraging JD's extensive supply chain capabilities and channels for government and enterprise clients, WuBa aims to accelerate market penetration. The companies will also target key sectors like public safety, emergency management, energy security, and urban services. They plan to establish joint sales and lead-sharing mechanisms. The companies will also expand overseas together, relying on JD's existing footprint in Europe and the Middle East to push WuBa's products into global markets. For R&D and scenario deployment, WuBa and JD will work together to build industry-standard products that meet market expectations. JD will open more than 20,000 offline stores and experience centers. These include JD MALL, JD Electronics flagship stores, and JD Home. They will provide WuBa with testing grounds for data collection and remote operations. This helps refine integrated offline robot solutions. The partnership will also explore technical synergies by integrating JD's resources with WuBa's products and operations. These resources include JD Cloud, computing infrastructure, the JoyInside and JoyAI large models, and digital management tools. This collaboration aims to elevate WuBa's digital management capabilities.Additionally, the companies will focus on refined user operations, using online-to-offline digital marketing to boost both brand awareness and sales conversion. On the logistics and service side, they will optimize warehousing efficiency. They will also tap into JD's mature after-sales network to explore deeper cooperation. This covers delivery, installation, maintenance, and technical support. As a state-backed representative of the embodied intelligence industry, WuBa focuses on three major tracks: major security, heavy industry, and large-scale services. It has built a core product matrix around the "Dasheng" humanoid robot and the "Sirius" quadruped. Notably, the company led the development of China's first full-stack humanoid robot pilot platform. This covers the entire process from concept validation and scenario testing to technology maturation and small-batch trial production. Its industry-grade quadrupeds have achieved over 100 million yuan in bulk deliveries and exports. They are widely deployed in specialized scenarios like police patrols, emergency rescue, and power line inspections. Meanwhile, its humanoid robots have already entered traditional manufacturing production lines to perform tasks such as scanning and material handling.JD.com has been rapidly expanding into embodied intelligence in recent years. The company built the world's first smart robot and advanced manufacturing industrial base in Wuxi, Jiangsu. This creates a full-chain platform spanning R&D, smart manufacturing, scenario application, and incubation. JD is also advancing robot industrial base layouts across multiple domestic regions, providing the infrastructure needed for mass robot trial production, real-world scenario validation, and industry clustering.
