But it apparently isn't enough for the folks at Rezvani, as the custom shop's new 'Vette-based Beast X gives the mid-engined machine a thorough exterior reinvention the likes of which most aftermarket builders would shy away from.The Rezvani Beast X starts with a C8 Corvette, but you wouldn't be blamed for not recognizing it. Thanks to an all-new carbon fiber body, the Beast X appears more like an F-22 than a C8. Lightweight materials can be found all over, as the car combines carbon-fiber bucket seats and lightweight magnesium wheels with its sculpted carbon body.Rezvani MotorsBut the real heart of the Beast X is its bespoke 6.2-liter V-8. The Irvine, California-based tuning company took the pre-facelift Corvette's V-8 and turned it up several notches. With twin-turbo setup for the V-8 and an electric motor that gives it all-wheel drive among the go-fast bits in play, Rezvani is pushing the car's output up to 1560 horsepower and 1280 lb-ft of torque. According to the company, the Beast X sprints from 0-60 mph in 1.9 seconds.
