Gasgoo Munich- RoboSense announced on April 15 that cumulative deliveries of its all-solid-state digital LiDAR E platform have surpassed 300,000 units, according to a report by Gasgoo.Built on proprietary SPAD-SoC and 2D VCSEL chips, the E platform is the first all-solid-state digital LiDAR platform to reach mass production. It currently features two models, the E1 and E1R, and is widely deployed across ADAS, Robotaxi, RoboVan, and robotic lawnmower applications.Image Source: RoboSenseIn the ADAS sector, the platform has secured blind-spot monitoring design wins from several major automakers, with production set to begin later this year.In the Robotaxi market, the E1 has emerged as the preferred solid-state blind-spot solution for leading L4 models. Launched in 2022, the unit boasts an ultra-wide 120°×90° field of view, effectively eliminating near-field blind zones. Moreover, the E1 pairs with the EM4 to create a "main plus blind-spot" radar configuration, delivering omnidirectional perception that combines long-range precision with near-field blind-zone elimination. This combined solution is now the top choice for over 90% of industry leaders, including Baidu Apollo Go, DiDi Autonomous Driving, WeRide, and Pony.ai.Unveiled in early 2025, the EM4 is the world's first "thousand-line" ultra-long-range LiDAR. Integrating a digital architecture with crosstalk elimination, all-condition optoelectronic signal processing, and lossless data compression, it achieves a detection range of up to 600 meters—two to three times the distance of mainstream industry solutions.DiDi Autonomous Driving’s next-generation Robotaxi, equipped with 10 "EM4+E1" digital LiDAR units, has already entered large-scale deployment. Meanwhile, WeRide’s upgraded mass-production Robotaxi GXR—featuring the "thousand-line" EM4 paired with the all-solid-state E1—is set to roll off the production line in the third quarter. In the RoboVan sector, the E platform has become a critical perception component for the next generation of autonomous delivery vehicles used by industry leaders such as JD.com, Meituan, Jiushi Intelligent, Neolix, and White Rhino. In the robotic lawnmower sector, RoboSense has forged deep partnerships with global leaders such as Kumar Technology and Weilan. Launching a series of new products, the company has successfully claimed the top spot in global sales for 3D LiDAR in this segment.
