Riva just gave its 90' Argo a new sibling. The famed boatbuilder has launched its first 96' Argo Super flybridge out of its La Spezia shipyard today. Building upon the ever-popular 90' Argo's own Italian excellence, the new 96-foot vessel has an upgraded layout, more natural light, and other redesigned spaces for even more comfort on the high seas. And behind all those changes are Officina Italiana Design, the Strategic Product Committee, and the Ferretti Group's engineering department, a trio that has been teaming up on Riva models for the last 30 years. The result is a 96-footer with a sleek silhouette and an aluminum livery to match. The team tackled the aft and beach area first, completely revamping the area to offer up a deeper connection to the water and a better use of outdoor space. The swim platform does both, thanks to a lift mechanism that can drop you even closer to the sea. A sunpad is also now part of the garage door, which opens to reveal space for a Williams 435 tender and a Jet Ski.More from Robb ReportAdvertisementAdvertisementA Bluff-Top Home in SoCal's Exclusive Montage Resort Just Listed for $29 MillionA Circular House in Malibu With Mountain and Ocean Views Lists for $5 MillionThe Last Bugatti Mistral Brings the Marque's W-16 Era to an EndThe new yacht has plenty of upgrades made for more comfort on the seas.Head to the cockpit and you'll find two sofas complete with adjustable backrests near the dining table. On the lower deck (in the standard configuration), you'll find three guest cabins, one of which is a full-beam VIP cabin aft that's more akin to a second owner's suite. For the salon, owners can opt for two configurations; on the first hull, you'll find a dining room aft and the lounge forward. And the full-beam main owner's space offers up views of the water right from its bed and has touches of glazed surfaces throughout. Other onboard details include a Seakeeper NG18 and NG10 gyroscopic stabilizers, a Watchlit collision prevention system, and a X-AID maneuvering aid and virtual anchor system."History does not make a brand iconic. The courage to reinvent it, generation after generation, does," Stassi Anastassov, CEO of Ferretti Group, said in a press statement. "For more than 180 years, Riva has set the standard for timeless beauty on the water. The new Riva 96' Argo Super carries that legacy forward with a yacht that is unmistakably Riva—more innovative, more liveable and more connected to the sea than ever before." The first Riva 96' Argo Super will be headed to the Cannes Yachting Festival this year, where it will make its official debut. Perhaps Charles Leclerc will eventually snag a model to add to his own Riva collection.Best of Robb ReportAdvertisementAdvertisementThe 2024 Chevy C8 Corvette: Everything We Know About the Powerful Mid-Engine BeastThe World's Best Superyacht ShipyardsThe ABCs of Chartering a YachtSign up for RobbReports's Newsletter.
