The Hi4-T version is priced at 259,800 yuan (38,200 USD), while the new Hi4-Z version is available for 269,800 yuan (39,700 USD). The vehicle is scheduled for an official market launch on July 19. This model was revealed earlier this month. According to Great Wall Motors, the Tank 300 L features 553 optimisation upgrades, with over half of its components undergoing a comprehensive iteration. Notably, the wheelbase has been extended to 3,010 mm, and the model marks the debut of the Hi4-Z powertrain. Design and dimensions The exterior features a redesigned blacked-out grille with “TANK” lettering and optimised circular headlights with integrated turn signals. The vehicle is built for customisation, offering 40 expansion interfaces for accessories like winches, spotlights, and roof racks. The dimensions have been adjusted to accommodate the new platform, with the front overhang compressed to 774 mm and the L113 distance extended to 923 mm. The vehicle measures 4,886 x 1,984 x 1,927 mm. Its off-road geometry includes a 38° approach angle, 33° departure angle, 19° break-over angle, 235 mm ground clearance, and a maximum wading depth of 800 mm. The side and rear of the Tank 300 L. Cockpit Inside, the cabin features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster paired with a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating touchscreen, powered by the Coffee OS 3 AI system. The system supports the Coffee GPT voice model and various connectivity options. For outdoor enthusiasts, the vehicle includes specialised features such as over 4,000 off-road route guides, a built-in radio, an oxygen concentrator, and satellite communication. The front seats offer extensive electric adjustments (12-way for the driver, 10-way for the passenger) along with heating, ventilation, memory, and 8-point massage functions. The rear seat backrests are adjustable between 25° and 33.7°. Performance The Tank 300 L is equipped with 27 perception sensors, including one LiDAR, enabling full-scenario NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) and a Sentry Mode. An optional Coffee Night Vision 2.0 system is also available.
