Gasgoo Munich-On July 20 that Putailai released its performance forecast for the first half of 2026. Preliminary calculations by the finance department indicate that net profit attributable to listed shareholders is expected to reach between 1.4 billion yuan and 1.5 billion yuan. This represents an increase of 345 million yuan to 445 million yuan, or 32.66% to 42.14%, year-on-year. Excluding non-recurring items, net profit attributable to shareholders is projected at 1.26 billion yuan to 1.36 billion yuan, an increase of 268 million yuan to 368 million yuan, or 27.00% to 37.08%.Regarding the primary drivers for this growth, the company stated that the global energy transition continues to drive strong demand in the electric vehicle and energy storage markets. Exports of EVs, storage systems, and related battery products have sustained rapid growth, while the construction of production capacity in the domestic battery supply chain has lagged, leading to persistently tight supply for upstream materials and equipment. As a result, shipments of the company’s major products achieved solid growth. Concurrently, Putailai implemented various cost-reduction and efficiency measures to offset rising raw material costs, driving sustained improvements in management efficiency and maintaining positive momentum in overall profitability.Putailai’s core business encompasses diaphragm materials and coating processing, key materials such as anodes, functional materials including PVDF, binders, alumina, and boehmite, as well as automation equipment and services for batteries.Putailai has consistently prioritized anode materials as a core business. By the end of 2025, the company had established an annual production capacity of 250,000 tons. Full-year shipments reached 143,000 tons, an 8.1% year-on-year increase, with gross margins improving compared to the previous year.In new product development, multiple models of artificial graphite anodes—characterized by long life, low expansion, and high energy density—have achieved mass production adoption among key clients in power batteries, energy storage, and consumer electronics. Additionally, CVD silicon-carbon anodes are being supplied in volume to consumer battery customers, while evaluation and verification for power battery clients are proceeding in parallel. Moreover, Putailai has initiated a project to build a 50,000-ton annual capacity facility for lithium-ion battery anode materials in Malaysia. This strategic move aims to capitalize on the rapid growth of global electrification and energy storage markets, meeting the supply needs of overseas clients through local production.
