Chevrolet became the most popular selling car brand in the USA following the end of World War II. They finally outpaced Ford and did so for several decades. That is one reason why there were so many Chevy cars and trucks on hand for the Pumpkin Run Nationals. Among them was a Nova Super Sport, a 1961 Bel Air, a 1963 Bel Air, a 1969 Nova SS, a Corvair, a 1961 Corvair station wagon, and a 1951 Styleline station wagon.
