Edge computing revenue totaled $7.2 billion, increasing 13% from the prior quarter and 27% year-on-year."AI has reached a tipping point," said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. "It performs valuable work, with every token generating productivity and profit. Computing is now a source of revenue, and market demand is accelerating."Huang noted that one year ago, only one laboratory drove AI development. Now, a golden age has emerged for new AI labs and startups. Multiple frontier labs are scaling up in parallel. The open-source model ecosystem is thriving, and physical AI is beginning to take root. Momentum remains strong in the U.S. and globally, with AI infrastructure construction advancing rapidly.He also revealed that Vera Rubin is now in full mass production, built specifically to empower this era.Regarding shareholder returns, NVIDIA returned approximately $26 billion in the second quarter of fiscal 2027 through buybacks and cash dividends. The company had $99 billion remaining in its share repurchase authorization as of the quarter's end. NVIDIA will pay a quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per share on October 1, 2026, to shareholders of record as of September 10, 2026.Looking ahead, NVIDIA expects fiscal 2027 third-quarter revenue to reach $108 billion, plus or minus 2%.
