Having just opened the doors to its new home in Mandello del Lario, the Italian brand is now celebrating with a range of special motorcycles. If you buy from a link, we may earn a commission. Learn moreDucati might be observing its centenary in 2026, but the brand isn't the only Italian motorcycle outfit ringing in a monumental milestone. In fact, just a few hours to the north, compatriot Moto Guzzi is turning even older. Having set up shop on March 5, 1921, the bikemaker officially celebrated 105 years of the House of Eagle just a few months ago.AdvertisementAdvertisementNow, to mark the occasion, Moto Guzzi has unveiled a quartet of 105th Anniversary Edition models that bring eye-catching looks and special commemorative significance. Moto Guzzi's V7 Stone is the most retro-leaning of the bunch. - Credit: Moto Guzzi105 years of the House of EagleThe treatment spans the Stelvio, V100 Mandello, V85 Strada and V7 Stone models. It'll also be available on the brand's Stelvio featuring PFF Rider Assistance Solution technology, so there are technically five bikes from which riders can choose.Particularities aside, as part of the uplift, each motorcycle benefits from a cool grey livery with a glossy pearlescent finish. It's a subtle look, though vibrant yellow details accent the colorway and unique 105th Anniversary graphics. The V100 Mandello is my favorite of the current lineup, as it marks the moto world's first application of adaptive aerodynamics. - Credit: Moto GuzziTo that end, Moto Guzzi has actually replaced the usual eagle on the fuel tank with a bold "105" that also appears on the rear wheel. It's a small change, but I appreciate how the logo maintains a central position throughout the bike, appearing on the headlight, the sump and the seat.AdvertisementAdvertisementSpeaking of the saddle, Moto Guzzi also gave each bike special stitching with a contrasting eagle. It's a touch that really ties the theme together.A grounded birthday celebration In any case, while the pairing might seem like an unusual choice for the brand compared to, say, Ducati, it's actually a very intentional decision.Moto Guzzi recently cut the ribbon to open its new multi-purpose facility. - Credit: Moto GuzziAccording to Moto Guzzi, the grey of the paint is intended to evoke an "industrial" aesthetic, and its marriage with the giallo accents is meant to "draw on the architecture and color that define the extraordinary complex designed by American architect Greg Lynn."That complex, of course, is the brand's new home. After almost five years of construction and €50 million in investments, Moto Guzzi opened a new facility at the site of its founding in Mandello del Lario. The color choices come into focus when you see the facility from afar. - Credit: Moto GuzziIt's not just a manufacturing plant, either. As part of the project, the multifunctional hub now also houses a museum with more than 160 restored historical bikes, as well as various public-facing spaces for cafes, workshops and a store.AdvertisementAdvertisementTogether, the two efforts make for a coordinated offensive that rings in 100-plus years of Italian motorcycling history.Availability and pricingAccording to Moto Guzzi's announcement, all 105th Anniversary Editions will be available from October and only until the end of 2027. At this stage, the brand has confirmed neither pricing nor production numbers.
