The Mitsubishi Xforce has secured over 1,000 bookings within a week after order books for the B-segment SUV opened on February 5, 2026. As announced by Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) when the Xforce was previewed earlier this month, the first 1,000 customers are entitled to a special early bird package that includes a RM5,000 rebate. Given the encouraging response, MMM has decided to extend the early bird package to the next 1,000 customers, so now 2,000 buyers will get to enjoy said rebate. We are still on tentative prices for now, with the base Urban estimated to go for RM110k, while it is RM120k for the range-topping Ultimate – figures are on-the-road without insurance. Factor in the rebate and the estimated asking prices are reduced to RM105k and RM115k respectively. We’ll get final pricing when the Xforce officially goes on sale in April this year. “We are truly grateful for the tremendous response to the Mitsubishi Xforce. Achieving over 1,000 bookings within just one week is a strong testament to the confidence Malaysians have in our brand and in this exciting new SUV. The extension of our early bird package is our way of thanking customers for their trust and enthusiasm,” said Takashi Sakamaki, CEO of MMM. “We are also confident that our nationwide dealer network is fully prepared to deliver a seamless ownership experience, from booking to aftersales support. With the Xforce being locally assembled, it further demonstrates our long-term commitment to Malaysia. We believe the Xforce will set a new benchmark in its segment and continue to strengthen Mitsubishi Motors’ presence in the market,” he added. The Xforce is locally assembled (CKD) in Pekan, Pahang, with both variants powered by a 4A91 1.5 litre naturally-aspirated MIVEC inline-four petrol engine that is also shared with the Xpander. In the SUV, the mill drives the front wheels through a CVT and is rated at 105 PS at 6,000 rpm and 141 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. An electronic parking brake with auto hold function, Mitsubishi’s Active Yaw Control (AYC) and hill start assist come as standard. At its highest Ultimate specification, the Xforce comes with automatic LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, leatherette seat upholstery with Mocha accents, a White Mélange weave-lined dashboard and dual-zone air-conditioning with nanoe X air purification, The list continues with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, selectable drive modes (Normal, Wet, Gravel and Mud), a wireless charging pad, blue ambient lighting, a powered tailgate with hands-free function, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, front and rear dashcams and a Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium System with eight speakers. On the safety and driver assist side of things, the range-topper gets six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system and active systems such as forward collision mitigation with autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lead car departure notification and auto high beam.
