The issue has to do with the Gen 4 inverter that may become damaged, which could lead to loss of all drive power.To fix the problem, Lucid plans to send an over-the-air (OTA) software update that will continually inspect for an inverter failure. If a failure is detected, Lucid will replace the inverter free of charge. For owners of affected vehicles, letters should be mailed out by July 10, 2026.
