KLIM Armor and new gear 2026KLIM has just launched an in-house-developed armor, which is made to tackle the problems adventure riders face. Alongside it is updated gear and an all-new helmet.KLIM, the Idaho-based premium motorcycle gear manufacturer, is becoming ever more popular both inside and outside of the US. Now, the brand has announced some on-point updates to its adventure gear and a new helmet for 2026. But first, let's start with the biggest news: KLIM's going Rogue. The US brand has just introduced its new in-house-developed Rogue armor system. Rogue armor is made of a proprietary compound of impact-absorbing polymers and was designed by KLIM over five years of development."KLIM’s 2026 motorcycle lineup represents a major leap forward in rider-focused innovation.”said Brent Harden, Motorcycle Category Director at KLIM. “We’re thrilled to introduce ourall-new Rogue protectors – lighter, thinner, more breathable, and more comfortable than before.”All Things KLIMKlim launches New Generation XC Pro Off-Road Gear, and Racer Support ProgramKlim’s New Off-Road Motorcycle Gear Is Designed To Keep You Cool In Extreme HeatAdvertisementAdvertisementThe whole idea behind KLIM's Rogue armor was a need. for thinner, lighter, and more breathable protection without compromising on impact absorption standards. And the last part is the most important for KLIM because CE testing standards for motorcycle armor require passing impact absorption tests in two conditions: Ambient and Wet. However, beyond the two required conditions, two optional test conditions also exist: Hot and Cold. The very nature of adventure riding means KLIM customers will go through everything from being wet and hot to cold and dry. After the brand failed to find armor that it says stands up to the conditions that adventure riding entails, it decided to build its own.KLIM Armor and new gear 2026KLIM Armor and new gear 2026KLIM Armor and new gear 2026Over the course of development, KLIM invested heavily in building a Rapid Prototyping Lab and HardParts Department, conducting hundreds of tests across a multitude of compounds and structures to engineer an armor system that achieves the desired CE Level 1 and Level 2 ratings.According to KLIM, "All of KLIM’s Rogue armor is thinner, lighter, and more breathable than the prior armor in their GORE-TEX® Adventure and Touring outerwear. In fact, Rogue Level 2 limb pads are so thin they’re actually as thin as the prior Level 1 armor. All Rogue Level 1 and Level 2 limb armor also passes all four CE testing conditions, offering a more streamlined protection package than ever seen in KLIM gear... Breathability is also massively improved, allowing for greater functionality of the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane."AdvertisementAdvertisementRogue armor comes standard in all 2026 KLIM new and redesigned outerwear and is fully backwards compatible with previous generations of KLIM gear. Riders can contact KLIM customer service to find the matching pads for their existing jackets and pants. Rogue armor will be available separately to upgrade riding gear where standard CE pad sizes are used. But KLIM has taken its product development a step further with the introduction of the Rogue EXP Level 2 range.AdvertisementAdvertisementPhoto by: KlimAs the name suggests, the EXP armor offers expanded protection, covering an average of 44% more surface area than standard CE-rated pads. Rogue EXP Level 2 is backwards compatible with prior generations of KLIM Badlands Pro and Badlands Pro A3 jackets and pants. And speaking of gear, KLIM is giving its adventure and touring collections quality upgrades for 2026.Both collections have been reimagined for 2026, now featuring a refined GORE-TEX construction, improved fit and mobility, smarter pocket layouts, optimized ventilation systems, and more streamlined touchpoints. All of the gear for both collections is compatible with the new Rogue armor, which will contribute to weight savings, reduced bulk, and improved breathability. Finishing off the improved gear for 2026 is the highly anticipated GT1 Expedition modular carbon helmet, which you can check out here.
