In the first half of 2026, it accounted for 37% of electric C-segment van sales in Europe and was the top seller in its segment. So far, the PV5 has mostly been sold in Passenger and Cargo body styles. Kia announced plans to launch the first Chassis Cab model in Europe and the UK that will go on sale over the next few months. The new variant is an open-bed model that can be converted into just about any vehicle you want it to be. Kia showcased a few unique conversions at SOLUTRANS 2025, including a food truck and even a camper van. Other markets will also have a standard-range 51.1 kWh option. It also supports DC fast charging up to 120 kW, enabling it to recharge from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes. Using an 11 kW AC supply, it takes about 6 hours and 30 mins to charge from 10% to 100%. It also has a “best-in-class” 5.5-meter turning radius, Kia said, making it ideal for tight city streets or building sites.
