Developed by IONCOR, a leading independent European battery system supplier with decades of automotive manufacturing expertise, the Energy Pack builds on extensive industrial experience. With over three million systems delivered and activities spanning the full battery value chain, the company brings proven expertise to solve system-level challenges. The battery systems are developed and made in Europe, supporting OEMs prioritizing secure, regional supply structures.Turning Capacity into PerformanceIn heavy-duty applications, space, structural efficiency, thermal management, and integration determine usable energy and reliability. IONCOR’s Cell-to-Pack design integrates cells directly into the structure, reducing mass and maximizing efficiency. At pack level, the Energy Pack delivers 300 Wh/l and 170 Wh/kg, positioning it among the highest energy density systems currently available. This enables OEMs to extract more energy from limited installation space while supporting standardized integration.“For OEMs, the challenge is not just adding battery capacity but doing so without increasing integration effort or program risk,” says Christian Honeck, Vice President Program Management at IONCOR. “The Energy Pack translates installation space directly into vehicle performance while maintaining scalability, certification readiness, and predictable time to market.”Flexible by DesignWith dimensions of 1320 × 580 × 205 mm and flexible mounting, the Energy Pack can be installed across multiple vehicle architectures. This enables electrification with minimal redesign, reducing development effort and time to market. Each pack provides 46.6 kWh at 664 V and scales up to 1,000 kWh through a standardized modular architecture, enabling reuse across vehicle classes with minimal redesign and integration effort.Built for Commercial UseThe system supports 4C pulse discharge, 2.5C charging, and continuous 2C operation. Liquid cooling ensures stable performance from −30°C to +55°C, while over 3,000 cycles support demanding use. Safety is addressed at system level, with a certified BMS and compliance with standards including ECE R100, UN 38.3, ISO 26262 ASIL C, and IEC 61508 SIL 2.Now in Series ProductionNow in series production, the Energy Pack removes the need for custom battery development. Available off-the-shelf, it provides immediate access to a proven solution for direct integration. Designed for series programs, it reduces validation risk and time to market, enabling the transition from proof-of-concept to scalable, long-term deployment.
