Joining the CB1000 Hornet is the Honda CB1000GT sports-tourer, shown at the EICMA show in Italy. The CB1000GT is designed as a motorcycle in grand touring style, intended to travel long distances in comfort and loaded with technology. The heart of the CB1000GT is its engine, an inline four-cylinder mill taken from the 2017 model year Honda Fireblade CBR1000RR. Displacing 1,000 cc, the engine is tuned for a smooth power delivery, delivering 147.64 hp at 11,000 rpm with a torque number of 102 Nm at 8,750 rpm. Power goes to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox equipped with a an assist and slipper clutch, along with a quickshifter as standard equipment. A 21-litre fuel gives extended range for the CB1000GT, which Honda claims is over 340 km while weight is listed at 229 kg with weight distribution at 51/49 fore-and-aft for a light steering feel. The electronics suite in the CB1000GT is comprehensive with advanced throttle-by-wire control and a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). This gives four default riding modes with preset combinations of Engine Power (EP), Engine Brake (EB) and traction control (HSTC) settings, plus a user defined mode that allows the rider to choose their own mix of settings, managed using the left handlebar toggle switch and five-inch TFT screen. Suspension is electronically controlled, with Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (Showa-EERA™) suspension that offers optimised damping in all riding conditions and situations, as well as the ability to adjust rear spring preload on the move. Braking is done with twin four-piston radial-mount callipers up front biting 310 mm floating discs, and a mono-piston rear calliper operating on a single 240mm disc. Cornering ABS is standard equipment on the CB1000GT, as is cruise control. The standard equipment list also includes left and right panniers, as well as hand guards and heated grips. Honda’s Smart Key system allows for keyless operation of the CB1000GT, and self-cancelling indicators, USB Type-C socket, IOS/Android smartphone Bluetooth connectivity and a centre stand is included. Seat height for the CB1000GT is set at 825 mm with an upright seating position. Official Hondaline accessories include the Comfort Pack with comfort seats and taller windshield, Sports Pack with under cowl, engine guard, wheel stripes and tank decals, and, the Urban Pack with 50-litre top box, rear carrier mount and alarm system. 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT 26YM Honda CB1000GT
