@BudgetWithBrenda/TikTokA Honda Accord owner said she spent three years trying to get her car fixed before a dealership finally diagnosed the problem. What came back was a $5,000 repair estimate.TikTok creator @BudgetWithBrenda detailed her years-long ordeal with Honda after she said her Accord began having issues.According to Brenda, she repeatedly tried to get the automaker to cover the problem, but her requests were denied because of the vehicle's mileage."I've been on a roller coaster of emotions with Honda for the past three years," she said in a video posted to TikTok. "I have filed claim after claim after claim with Honda, and they all kept getting denied for the same reason – the mileage on the car."@BudgetWithBrenda/TikTokShe added that "thousands of people" have ran into the same problem, but Honda continued to misdiagnose the car."They finally diagnosed it with the head gasket and were charging me $5,000," Brenda explained. She decided not to immediately approve the repair because she was worried there was a chance the diagnosis could be wrong again. However, she learned Honda had extended warranty coverage for the issue up to 150,000 miles.Brenda said her Accord falls under that mileage limit, which potentially put the expensive repair within the extended coverage, but at the time she published the TikTok video, she was still waiting to learn whether Honda would approve her claim this time around."Hopefully, this is it and they can actually fix my car," she said.Read More From First for AutosDealership Tells Driver He Needs New Brakes, Mechanic Looks and Disagrees: 'Happens All the Time''Friends' Alum Matt LeBlanc Seen Driving Old Ford Focus Despite $85 Million Net WorthPolice Search for Corvette Driver After Video Appears to Show Car Top 186 MPH on Public RoadThis story Honda Accord Owner's Claims Were Denied for 3 Years – Then the Dealer Quoted Her a $5K Repair first appeared on First for Autos.
